On Tuesday 13th August 2019, I was in the Peak District visiting some friends who were staying in a holiday cottage not too far from Lumsdale Falls. It was a perfect opportunity to visit Lumsdale Falls to take a few photos before meeting my friends as it was a location I have yet to visit.
Located in the Lumsdale Valley it is home not only to several waterfalls, but also some ruins of an old mill. Sadly I didn't get to visit all the waterfalls in this location as I ran out of time, but it will be a location I would like to return to one day especially in the Autumn to photograph the Autumn colours.
Below is one of the images I took from my visit to Lumsdale Falls.
The site is unsuitable for visitors who find it hard to walk or climb as most of the path is on uneven ground. There is a handrail to assist people when climbing, but it can still be difficult for some people.
