Over the weekend of 7th - 8th July 2018, Duncombe Park in Helmsley was host to yet another steam rally organised by The Great Yorkshire Traction Engine Club.
After visiting this event for the first time last year on the Sunday I decided to visit again on the Sunday to soak up the atmosphere. Sadly this year didn't really seem to have an atmosphere to it and seemed to lack static vehicle displays like I saw last year. Whether it was because people had stayed away because of the World Cup, or people would rather visit the coast then an event like this as we were having such lovely hot weather.
Sadly I didn't stay too long and watched only a couple of items in the main arena, and watched the steam traction engines move into the arena.
However I did managed to take a few photos during my brief stay, and these can be found by clicking here.
